Christian School Development (CSD) exists to help K–12 Christian schools grow, lead, and thrive in the communities they serve. At a time when effective Christian education is more needed than ever, our mission is simple: Strengthening schools of today. Building schools for tomorrow.
Our Story
Christian School Development was founded in 2013 by Dr. John Foreman, a veteran Christian school leader with decades of experience in education and leadership. Throughout his career, John has served as a teacher, coach, curriculum coordinator, guidance counselor, athletic director, adjunct college professor, and Head of School.
After serving on more than 30 accreditation teams for organizations such as ACSI, AACS, and ACTS, he recognized a clear pattern: Christian schools often face similar challenges but lack accessible, experienced support to overcome them.
In 2024, John stepped away from school administration at an award-winning Christian school to expand CSD into a full-time ministry—focused entirely on strengthening existing schools and helping new schools take root.

How We Work
Every partnership begins with a conversation.
When a school, church, or parent group contacts CSD, we schedule a no-cost consultation by phone or Zoom. During this time, we listen carefully, identify needs, and outline possible outcomes.
Within one week, we will provide a customized proposal with recommended services, timeline, and estimated costs.
Once approved, we assign a CSD consultant—an experienced Christian school leader—who will walk alongside you every step of the way. Our approach is personal, relational, and practical. We don’t operate from a distance—we partner with you on the ground.
Our Approach
At CSD, we believe in a “boots on the ground” model of support.
You won’t work with a call center or sales rep who doesn’t understand your situation. You will work with someone who has lived the role, understands the challenges, and knows how to lead through them.
We don’t just offer advice—we walk with you from planning to implementation.
Starting New Schools
Launching a Christian school is both exciting and challenging. It requires vision, planning, resources, and experienced guidance.
CSD specializes in guiding schools from the “drawing board to the first day of school.” Our typical launch process spans 9–12 months and includes everything from planning and staffing to financial strategy and community engagement.
Unlike other programs that offer only materials or courses, we provide ongoing, hands-on leadership throughout the entire process.
We also assist with fundraising strategies to help cover startup costs before tuition revenue begins.
Affordability & Value
We understand that cost matters. While professional consulting services do require an investment, our clients consistently find that CSD offers:
- More personalized support
- Greater hands-on involvement
- Stronger long-term outcomes
Our rates are transparent and available for download here.
Recently, CSD has…
- Helped launch two new Christian schools in August 2025
- Partnered with schools in New Mexico and Arizona to fill executive leadership roles
- Supported schools in achieving accreditation status
- Provided Interim Head of School leadership where needed
Our Vision
We believe every family should have access to strong, Christ-centered education.
That’s why we are passionate not only about strengthening existing schools—but also about planting new ones in communities where this option does not yet exist.
